Every business that is established in Palau must apply for an Employer Identification Number (EIN). Applicants must visit the Social Security office to complete the process.

Processing Time
If your EIN application is complete and all documents have been provided to the Social Security office, your EIN card will be available after 48 hours.
Existing Debts
Any Employer or Owner with an existing or past business that owes Social Security contributions shall not be eligible for obtaining an Employer Identification Number for a new business or a Social Security Number of any new employees without first executing a payment agreement and making payment on time for at least six (6) months, or remitting full payment of amount owed.
